In the early 199os research into Future Learning  was pioneered by  a small group of MirandaNet Fellows that included Karen Cameron, John Cuthell, Niki Davis, Bryn Holmes, Christina Preston, Marilyn Leask, Chris Yapp and Sarah Younie. In 2012  the research team has grown significantly reflecting the value this area of educational innovation. Ideas are developed through the collaborative MirandaMods that are intended to push the envelope on collaborative professional knowledge creation face to face and on line.
