Personal Statement
As an educational technologist I constantly look for new ways that ICT can have an impact on all learners within educational environments. I have been lucky enough to to work in 2 innovative schools where I have been able to find some of these ways. I am presently part the the Harnessing Technology team in an LA, working on integration / interoperability and ensuring the schools are provided with or advised on the most appropriate technologies to move on T&L, school leadership and develop innovation.
I am also a regular on many mailing lists and forums of technologists, technicians and teachers. I retired as a Site Admin at Edugeek.net after 3 1/2 years, organising conference and exhibits at trade shows such as BETT. I have participated in a number of working parties at local and national level, and presently have a strong interest in learning platforms and the personalisation agenda.
