Bursted Wood Primary, Bexleyheath
Our school recently had an Ofsted inspection identifying ICT as a key issue. Following a meeting with Christina Preston our school received a gift of ten Citibank computers. Eight of these have been set up by the Borough technician in two ICT areas in the school.
Staff have attended eight training sessions using these and four more are booked for this term. Staff are also attending a whole school training session on Assessment Manager which will allow them to record all assessment tests and analyse these.
The next four computers will be available for staff to take home and one for the staff room.
The Oracle grant will be included in the National Grid for Learning allocation to have modems bought for the upper school ICT area and the staff room.
