Personal Statement
Ex Technology Colleges Trust, established the national 'Supergrid' broadband network. RCA Schools Technology Project Director - 21 books on D&T for secondary schools. Prior to that teacher training and teaching Design and Technology.
Specialised in evaluating and reporting on the provision of hand-held and other small scale computers in schools since 1999, working with the Wolverhampton & Bristol projects in particular.

- Community Access to Lifelong Learning with London Borough of Camden.
- Evaluating the personal use of Psion netBooks with 90 Y3 - Y5 children in Lambeth EAZ.
- Writing case study materials for the Design Council Web site featuring manufacturing aspects of their 'millennium products'.
- Co-authoring a paper on the strategic development directions of D&T, and the subject's research background for the Engineering Council.
- Supporting three teachers on Best Practice Research Scholarships (DfEE funded) - ICT to motivate behaviourally challenging children; ICT for A/S Philosophy and Bringing Parents into the reporting loop of a school MIS.
- External assessor for a new distance learning PGCE in D&T for the Open University.
- External Examiner, D&T for Sunderland University.
