Personal Statement

David FullerI have been a teacher for 20 years both in the independent and state sector. In that time I have taught ICT in Secondary education and been a head of department and manager. I am interested in ICT and how it is implemented and taught in Education and have always been keen to support developments in this key area. Currently I am involved in a project to support the teaching of computing in schools.

ICT Interests

I have been involved with teaching ICT for over twenty years. Most of the work has been in the secondary field, but I have taught the younger pupils as well. I have become actively involved in the Independent Schools IT Group, co-ordinating the annual meeting and acting as secretary for the East Anglian branch.

I have just completed my teaching career and am embarking on a career in consultancy and training in schools. Using my previous experience providing consultancy for RM plc, BCS, examining boards and various other organisations, I feel that I can advise and help influence change makers.

Recent Projects

I have been involved in a number of projects within Mirandanet. I produced a case study for the e-journal on e-learning. This was based on my experiences in running a radio station at Oundle School. I have also been involved with the e-faciliation work for the GTC. I then moved to an Academy, and have continued work with radio stations, and offering masters qualifications for teachers. I have been an Apple regional training centre manager and a BCS centre manager.
