Personal Statement
Twenty years experince in Birmingham Primary schools, including seven years as Head of St Michael's, Handsworth.
Appointed as Content Manager for Birmingham Grid for Learning in September 1999.
ICT Interests
All aspects of Content, bearing in mind that Content, of itself, is not learning.
E-learning, what it looks like, how it differs from face to face, how it will impact on learners of all ages.
The opportunities to enhance and extend learning, for more peoiple, in more places, at more times and to greater effect.
Recent Projects
Developing quality online content that, typically, is open-ended, engages the user as co-author and encourages questioning. Amongst the better examples are The Quiz Creator, Elephant Feet and Co-ordinating Shapes.
