Personal Statement
As a first year Teach First Participant I am constantly looking for new ways to improve my teaching practise and engage my pupils in language learning. As the LICT (Learning Through ICT) representative for the MFL department I have taken part in a number of training sessions on the effective use of ICT in Teaching and Learning. I have found this to greatly shape the way in which I teach and have found the use of ICT particularly beneficial in allowing those pupils with poor literacy levels or a specific SEN to access the curriculum.
I am an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for languages and other cultures and hope to gain some great ideas from MirandaNet to take back into the classroom.
