Games in Visual Learning

Let's start by stating the obvious, that games reinforce learning in a whole range of curriculum areas. It's the small things here that we're trying to pin down.
So. What examples of games do we have to support different elements of the curriculum? What level are they good for? How can they be used?
Those that mesh with display technologies are an obvious starting point.
Can people point us in the right direction?
Examples, brief explanations and URL:s (if possible) please.
