·        What is it you would like to find out? What we are aiming to achieve?

“Creating excitement about learning”.

3.         How will your research help to improve teaching and learning?

We are not sure at this stage but will monitor this on an ongoing basis through our research methodology.

4.         What are the expected outcomes or findings of your research? How will the research process be helpful to your pupils?

Again we are not sure, but we are aiming at excitement, creativity, adoption from teachers and pupils. We also intend to include the Outreach and community teachers and pupils in our research even if it is to create an awareness of the Interactive whiteboard technology and capability.

We expect to see transformation in the classroom and of the teacher skills.

What a difference
We have just put together reports from our first term using the iwb's - WOW is one word that comes to mind. What a difference these boards have made in such a short space of time. I cannot wait to see the reports in Cape Town.
